Vipul Organics Starts Production at New Gujarat Manufacturing Facility

Vipul Organics has commenced production at its new manufacturing facility at Sayakha in Gujarat.

The new facility has been developed as part of the company’s expansion programme in specialty chemicals and colourants.

Sayakha is part of Gujarat’s established chemical manufacturing ecosystem and has attracted investments from companies involved in specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals and related industries.

The new facility adds manufacturing capability to Vipul Organics’ existing operations.

The company produces pigments, dyes and specialty chemicals used in applications including textiles, plastics, coatings, printing and other industrial applications.

Specialty chemical plants require controlled production processes and supporting infrastructure for raw-material storage, reaction, separation, filtration, drying and packaging.

Utilities such as steam, cooling water, compressed air and treated water also form an important part of chemical manufacturing operations.

Environmental management is another key component of chemical manufacturing facilities, with plants requiring systems for wastewater treatment, emissions control and safe handling of process residues.

The new Sayakha facility is expected to increase Vipul Organics’ manufacturing capacity and support its product portfolio.

The commissioning represents another addition to Gujarat’s expanding specialty-chemical manufacturing base.

The company is expected to progressively scale up production at the facility as operations stabilise.
