Deepak Chem Tech Commissions New Specialty Chemicals Facility at Dahej

Deepak Chem Tech Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite, has commissioned a new chlorination and specialty chemicals manufacturing facility at Dahej in Gujarat.

The project represents an investment of approximately ₹300 crore and expands the company’s manufacturing footprint at one of India’s major chemical-industry clusters.

The new facility strengthens Deepak Chem Tech’s presence in downstream and specialty chemicals while supporting the group’s broader strategy of moving toward higher-value chemical products.

Dahej offers access to established chemical infrastructure, utilities, logistics and downstream customers, making it a key location for new chemical manufacturing investments.

The commissioning adds further capacity to Deepak Nitrite’s specialty chemicals portfolio and forms part of the group’s ongoing expansion programme at Dahej.

The development also reflects the continuing investment by Indian chemical manufacturers in integrated, higher-value production facilities rather than relying solely on commodity chemical capacity.
