Ambuja Commissions 4.6 MTPA of Cement Capacity Across Three Indian Sites

Capacity additions at Dahej, Salai Banwa and Kalamboli became operational during the July–September quarter.

Ambuja Cements has commissioned a combined 4.6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of cement capacity across three Indian locations, according to its company update dated 29 October 2026.

The additions comprise 1.2 MTPA at Dahej, 2.4 MTPA at Salai Banwa and 1 MTPA at Kalamboli.

The facilities were commissioned during the quarter ended 30 September 2026. The update did not specify individual commissioning dates or investment amounts for these additions.

Ambuja also expects to commission 2.4 MTPA at Warisaliganj during the second half of FY2026–27. This remains a planned addition, separate from the 4.6 MTPA already commissioned.
